Our Farm

Murphy’s Country Produce is a family run farm, owned and operated by Brian Murphy & his children Brendan, Megan, and Bradley. In 1989 with what started off with only 4 acres of strawberries, the farm has now grown to approximately 50 acres of fruits and vegetables. We are also a “Century Farm”! The Farm has been in the Murphy name since Les’ grandfather Arthur Murphy and Sarah Barkley got married 1912

We have expanded to growing various fruits and vegetables such as Raspberries, Tomatoes, Peas, Sweet Corn, Fava Beans and Pumpkins and just recently have introduced Fresh cut daily sunflowers and gladiolas! Our produce is not only available at our farm, but also at local produce stands, and major grocery stores.

As well, we have our own produce stand located right on the farm which is available from the beginning of strawberry season to the end of October.

I love Murphy’s!

I love Murphys! My husband and I have made this an annual visit. We actually come several times a year to pick fresh fruit and vegetables and we love the honey of the little wolf. The staff is always so friendly and we never leave empty handed.

Always Great Produce and so Fresh!

Love this place. Always great produce and so fresh. Have gotten pre-picked as well as PYO and was just as happy both ways!

Have I said I love Murphy’s!

I love Murphy’s! We were there this morning to pick our own Roma tomatoes. We only needed a bushel and filled it up in no time. Picking was fantastic! I could have kept going. The eggplants were so plentiful and beautiful we ended up picking a basket of those too! Have I said I love Murphy’s! The country market there always has lots to buy as well!
